Yesterday my rear motor stopped while on a ride I immediately stopped to check it for heat because I thought I may have been breaking and throttling briefly and not having a sensor connection but the motor was not hot there was no burnt smell nothing of that sorts so once back home I started by flipping the bike and trying to run the motor I can hear the motor making noise nothing bad just as if it’s trying to start then nothing it’s a bafang motor that I wired in about two weeks ago it’s been working just fine till now now I’ve disconnected it and tried another motor with the same controller and I did the learning wire and it did the same thing leading me to believe it may be the controller though I’m unsure if the other motor works though I still have a front motor though im not sure what would happen to it if I plugged it into this possibly faulty controller if there’s any pictures or videos that I could post here to help with this trouble shoot feel free to let me know I’ll upload asap

Anything helpful is welcome Thanks

More details in shorter sentences please.. Pics of labels or the details on motor controller display etc, Motor type size etc a distinct controller suggests a hub drive?

What does the handlebar display indicate, even basic led units display error codes, (including 'pdf' in a google manual search should list page counts for relevant searches aiding in tracking down longer full manual docs).
The handlebar display manual is the bike system manual in most ebike cases.

First check is battery voltage. measured off the bike if possible. if low voltage the bms could shut off output.

If using 'wasterpoof' type sockets, its EASY to not push together fully, check all are fully inserted to the line triple check the motor connection..

An open brake lever, or short in the brake cut off circuits could hamper motor operation with the safety override?
(just disconnect to rule out)

Do you have a multimeter?

You connected a new bafang rear motor and it worked for two weeks. This is an off the shelf two motor bike? Or is it something you built yourself, Is it two separate controllers or a dual controller. How do you get the motor to spin. Is it one shared throttle and one pedal sensor? Dual throttles? How did you wire e-brakes? Lots of questions, but there are a ton of details left out here.

Was the new bafang motor a plug and play with a factory motor cable? Or did you have to wire up an adapter? If it was the second case, well, we dunno what you did, That' something for you to check,

If the motor connectors match, it should not be a big risk to connect the new rear motor to the front controller plug to prove whether the motor is good or bad.

This bike is a Fat AWD enounora or what ever. I now have removed the old controller a two mode universal for a three mode universal, i hooked up negative to power door lock the phase wires aswell as my throttle wires just trying to keep it simple.that being said there no hall hook up high low break nothing fancy I just want my motor to go !!! Im here because being new to builds and the people on this forum have helped me get info id never find anywhere else ! So this new controller has a bypass to you connect to switch it from 3 to 2 mode controller so I’ve done this aswell so in 3 mode I connected everything and plug in the learning wire and presto she kicks in and he BAFANG motor so I’m thinking nice got it first shot and I was wrong guess it didn’t learn much cause it only turns on when learning is connect and I am just scratching my head ? Any ideas Lads?

Update I switched back to my old controller changed my throttle and put in a rad power rear motor and connected my higher ah battery to it and my lower ah battery to my front motor and she goes though now it just seems as if I’ve only gained torque/ acceleration from this set up

I also now connected all five hall sensor wires to the rear motor controller contemplating if I should add a 52v battery or switch my front 250w motor for 500-1000w or combination of both open to suggestions I just want to reach 28-30mph
