Noise in Hub Motor

With the help from this forum, I just finished my second E-Motorcycle. It runs well, but I feel a subtle grinding vibration during the first moment of acceleration. Like a rough bearing. After that the bike runs perfectly smooth.

Does this sound normal? If not, can the motor be disassembled for maintenance or repair?

The bike is a 1973 Honda CL 125 with a QSmotor 3000w hub motor.

That sound to me like a tuning issue, but if you want to take the motor apart it is of course possible.
A mechanical issue would probably not go away when you got past the first acceleration.

Thanks j bjork, good points. The feeling is like a shudder. The bike is new so I will ride it some more and see if it changes.
My mid motor bike also kind of does this at the beginning of acceleration.

I'd definitely check the controller tuning first. What controller is it? How did you set it up?
