First of all i want to thank you for your time you invested developing such as a great future tool with unlimited options. If you want i could do a tester for you. Yesterday i received BESST tool so in next minutes i will try to unlock my bike trough your tool.

I tried to reprogram my hubmotor drive with the version 2.0.1 of the software. All the settings looked alright and I only changed the setting for the max speed. But still the speed shown on the display is much to high, when walking with the bike at 5km/h, the display shows 25-30 km/h. So now I just get a tiny bit assistance when starting but as soon as I start rolling the assistance shuts off as the speed is exaggerated on the display. Any suggestions on which parameter to change. The speed sensor was set to external. Is that something to check? I am super happy for any suggestions.

For uart motors only usual usb-uart converter is supported (~5$ on aliexpress)
Ok, thanks for the info! So I will need to order this cable from AliExpress. Do you know if is even possible unlock speed on UART M400 with Bafang Besst diagnostic and Bafang Besst software? I can only read HMI and controller, but no write option to change the speed limit. Thanks
No. Most of parameters of uart motors are available only with my program or (older) Bafang Configuration Tool by Stefan Penoff

Quick question: Does your tool support the same parameters as the official BESST software, or does (or can in the future) support also the parameters that are not supported by BESST? Specificaly for CAN protocol motors.

Most of parameters are not available in usual besst at least with usual dealer accountHello,

Also, I plan to add support of torque sensor settings for uart motors, so it will be even more usable for Ultra

hi Andrey, i purchased a bafang usb program cable and it came with uart connector, although my bike has the can connector and its the cm5001 sun union motor which we believe is just a rebrand of bafang motors. Anyway can you recommend any advise or help ?
Sorry, but I have no information about sun union motors. It may be rebranded bafang, but not surely. You can test it, but REMEMBER THAT NON-BAFANG MOTOR MAY HAVE SOME CONNECTOR WITH DIFFERENT PINOUT, CHECK PINOUT WITH MULTIMETER NOT TO BURN YOUR COMPUTER. If you tested it with multimeter and motor interface is electrically compatible, you can try to connect it to computer with my program

Andrey i messaged you earlier & stated i purchased a bafang program cable,it came with uart connector & i need can connector. is Official Bafang BESST Tool device my only choice with this issue im having to use your program ?
For uart systems you can use usual usb-uart converter. For can systems only besst tool is supported (canable pro will be added in future). Can you send me photo of your motor and connector?

thank you, is a uart to can adapter connector available ? it seems i can not find anyway to connect to my can connector display and can not find anything to purchase except the Official Bafang BESST Tool device

yes, what pics of motor do you want? inside motor? take cover off? its a cm5001 and display is DS103
