Perth Australia Group Ride date Sat 17 November 2012 10am

I think the plan was a couple of refreshing ales at Maylands golf club? then back at the park, chuck a few snags on the barbie. I will have a couple of beers in the cooler for the park as well.

I'll try you on your phern (that's code for your phone but I didn't want the spambots to recognise it either), Chris!

Bloody spammers, that code lingo didn't work, anyway twas a great ride as usual again and good to catch up with all,

a short clip of what Andy gets up to after just two pints of ale

Nice. No smoke but with electric stuff I don't like it when they smoke.......

When photobucket starts to play nice, I'll chuck a swag of photos up. It was a great ride, thanks to all for making it a fun few hours!

Just got home myself. I had to stop at the Mazda dealership on the corner of Guildford Rd and Garratt so I could charge up for a good half hour. Riding like a clown tends to use up your battery pretty fast. I walked across the street while the bike was charging and bought a beer at the liquor store... which had no power due to powerline works right outside. They were nice lads nonetheless. Reckon I need a little nap now...

Good ride guys. Will post up some vid, sorry no video after burswood. But a dozen odd candid shots from the from the happy shag. I take it everyone is happy if I post. Timma keen from 2 weeks time.

I hear it's winter in the Northern Hemisphere...

Shame you couldn't make it KiM. We had an extra beerz for you regardless ;)

Is that the Lucky Shag? I drove down to Maylands and the golf course but didn't see you.

Great day for a ride. Look forward to seeing a video.

See you next time.

Yeah mate, we stopped at the Shag for a drink (I got the order right?... good) and worked our way back to the Garret St park. We did pass the golf club but they were pretty busy out front, plus a few folks had to peel off early. Another one in a couple of weeks I reckon :)

This was the route

Flat battery? No problem. Matt's roadside recovery to the rescue!

I should point out my 600 Wh battery normally gets me 30 km with plenty of pedalling. There just didn't happen to be much pedalling today, except when popping wheelies :) I had to charge up before I left, at the start of the ride, a little top up at the pub, and on the way home.

Nice video Rod, thanks! Check out that beautiful weather!

Nice photo's and video Rodney, didn't see that camera

Hi, I should introduce myself. My name is Spicerack and I'll introduce myself next time there is a Perth group ride.

I was told about this site by andynogo, but he has mysteriously dissappeared...... Know anything about that, Matt????????

Hi Andy, aka spicerack I see you took up my suggested new name.
Does everyone know that your battery mounting system is a pair of spiceracks?
Nice videos guys, thanks for the great ride.
