I was searching around for batteries that would be good for my build and found out RisunMotor makes a 72v 25ah battery.

After emailing to ask them to ask a few questions they also informed me that they had also developed a 72v 30ah and after telling them that I only need 80A discharge compared to 125A it actually ended up being cheaper for a higher capacity battery that fits my needs better.

The full cost was £565 including the cheapest shipping to the UK (30 days), 10A charger and a small mark-up for using paypal. It took 32 days from the initial email to work out the details and have them manufacture it, it then took 26 days for shipping. Their responses usually took around 1-2 days, pretty standard.

Battery and charger arrived in separately shipped boxes with plenty of packaging and no damage.

The construction looks decent, it's a shame the XLR charge connector doesn't fit through the little hole although I suppose it is better off without being exposed to the elements.

Apparently they used LG cells, can anyone let me know if there is a way to check this without cutting the battery open?

Comes with a battery bag

Quick test fit on my frame, plenty of clearance

A little more duct tape than I would have hoped, at least it's shrink wrap blue.

The charger is loud but it doesn't matter for me I will be charging in my garage.
(See zip file for video)
Discharge QS8 comes with a cover, not exactly sure why

The ring terminals look fine if a little beaten up out of the box.

They never mentioned specifically that they use ANT BMS but a quick look in my phones Bluetooth settings showed that they do, I could imagine someone never realising their battery has an app.
Decent mobile app, the same cannot be said for their windows app that lacks translations and only supports USB TTL connection

Looks like RisunMotor already did a full discharge test

Group 9 is quite high, hopefully that will get balance charged when I go to 100%

Here is the schematic they sent me and my frame measurements.

All in all, a great price for decent quality, thank you to Jason from RisunMotor for helping me get this battery.
Let me know if you have any questions.
