Suzuki GSX-R e899 K2

Today I had a live session via AnyDesk with Scott Drive (New Zealand).
Scott Osborne updated the firmware of the controller, changed some settings for P/I and we tested different setups for the resolver calibration. So hopefully the shut down during full acceleration is gone now. I hope to test it on a 1/8 mile event middle of June.

Had a fantastic weekend with h my daughter and brother:

  • No controller shut down
  • RT: 0,000 sec (first time)
  • made first place and got the trophy for fastest electric motorcycle (only one took part 🤣🤣🤣)

But it was to windy for my big front fairing. I stopped all runs inbetween because of hitting the light barriers by continuing …
I also have to shorten the wheel base again and find a new design for windy runs 😉

Got now the information that e-bikes competition at Glemseck 101 are banned now. Maybe to less competitors or the government decision to cut the deposits by buying an e-car or e-bike. But with vitamin b I will get a short race against a powerful compressor bike on 1/8 mile.
So let’s see what happened! I have shorten the wheelbase and already prepared for Saturday

Great weekend at Glemseck and the compressor motorcycle lost regarding no injection and left starting line.
But a new competitor with traction control took over

It was not full length 1/8 mile

Ups I did it again …
The first 2 from 8 hours are gone. For the next 30 places it will be a little bit difficulty to place the masking tape before I can continue with the big areas.

Now with open front fairing regarding wind turbulences problems with old one by last event in August 24 where I have to interruped every run.
And I run again Hoosier’s 22/2.5-17 on 3.5-17 rim.

Horrible day @ ACAB - All Cars And Bikes - Tuningtreffen with Happy End althoug I lost the last Race.
1st run: slipping wheel @ start and during every speed I pull the throttle switch to full position with dancing rear wheel 😉
2nd run: forget to switch to sports mode @ starting line (250A vs 535A) 😢. My fault!!!
3rd run: bad start from starting line but then she run 😀
4th run against the matador of this track David Mitzlaff. I knowed already that I will loose (what I did) but he pull me to my actually best run!
Thanks a lot for that my friend 👍

I have really bad 60 feet times, practice, practice, practice 🤣
But I made the 1st place @ electric vehicles

ELAC Electroacustic GmbH ELAC see you on High End in Munich on 14th of May

I copied the text from my Facebook site: Andre Sander

What a transformation of that bike :bigthumb:
Great work. More photos of the technical details and specs would be welcome in this thread.

Actually I run on 174S2P (726V DC)with a mixture of two different battery types Turnigy Heavy Duty 5000mAh 60C ( up to 10 years old) and Ovonic 6500mAh 100C (2 years old).
So 10Ah max 60C is the limitation.
So the battery pack 5Ah per side weight around 27kg.
The overall bike weight is around 220-230kg.
The Scott Drive controller SD300 (300kW+) can handle up to 800V and 600A motor current (actual setting is 535A) so some more power left 😉 if the batteries will provide it.
The motor from phi Power (PhE 381) can handle up to 640Nm with the full amps (not yet reached because of slipping wheel). Controller and motor are water/glycol cooled and I use the original water cooler and fan from the GSXR 1000 K2.
I am running without BMS but charging the batteries with 8 core loader (-1 because it’s defect) but already ordered the next 4 core loader. SI know that costs time but BMS system is not really cheap and I don’t know where to install it (not enough Spare place.
I could run 4 times. Now the batteries are perfectly in storage voltage range.
