TSDZ8 OSF (open source firmware)

config.hex on my PC is same date, on my laptop always 25.06.2026 , but it is created and has the changed settings, so it seems fine.
So probably you are looking at the "created" date and not the "modified" date. That explains why timestamp does not change.

From which branch do you get the OSF firmware? Best would be to use the branch named "test6_with_pll" (and not main) and then the file OSF_TSDZ8_VLCD_SPIDER_3_V00_02.04.hex.
This is the latest version.

Yeah, it ´s just a date display error, two different file explorers ... flashed new firmware now .. "street mode on startup enabled" is always limiting power, no difference if i switch between offroad and street mode. And it does not matter if the field Street Power Limit is used. Wattage in display seems to go Amps*Voltage max. That´s OK , so i have to go with 23-30 Amps and it should work. But without street mode I don´t want to use it, legal stuff.

OK I think i got it now.. need to read the display manual from tsdz2.. street/offroad mode is not activted by power+plus , instead at level 1 holding light 2 times :)

Hello,

I've had my TSDZ98 (750w) mid drive motor for a while now and its been functioning great on my bike. The only issue I had with it was that the PAS even at level 5 wasnt strong enough to feel effortless for me so I wanted to alter the software to increase it. So I followed the guide from mstrens on github and everything was working fine until I measured the ADC minimum and max and input it into the Java configurator and flashed it to my bike, which gave me the Error 02 constantly on the display when I turned it on. So I'm stuck at stage 5. My Display is the EKD01 and my ADC minimum values is between 118-119 on the display and the max is 305 when im on the pedals.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

On some TSDZ8, the values provided by the torque sensor varies with the position of the pedal. That is the reason why I recommend to get the value for different pedal positions (with no weight on the pedal) and to use the highest value found and even adding some margin to it. It is explained in the readme.

Thanks for the reply, I spun the pedals backwards and still got the 11.4 (114 in software) figure no matter what. I eventually set it to 150 in the java configuration and error 02 went away. But now it seems to use way more power for an equivalent effort compared to the stock firmware so I might just keep the powallon firmware as that has the PAS improvement I want with goof efficiency.

About throttle.
If I set min on 0 - in the technical I got value 35 (motor is going without pushing the throttle). If set 35 - I got value 9 in technical, if set 40 - value 3 in technical, if set 45 - 0 and working well. All without pushing the throttle.

It seems that the value in the technical menu is depends on min value setted in temperature menu. I haven't checked what value I get after pressing the throttle all the way down with the min. setting of 45. Will it be 255? I'll check.

Overall, the throttle works at full range, so it's a nice improvement. Be careful when setting the parameters – if setting them to 0 - after activating off-road mode, the bike propels itself. I saved myself by switching to street mode.

edit:
If I set the max value to 255, I get 163 in the tech menu with the throttle fully depressed. After changing the max value to 200, I get 222 in the tech menu with the throttle fully depressed.
Hi, I have the exact same problem as you. I have the TSDZ8 with OSF_TSDZ8_860C_KATANA_2_V00_01.35 and the SW102 with sw102-full-0.19.17.

Has anyone managed to fix this throttle issue?
