This is a stealth bomber clone. Recently it started to squeak as soon as it sit on it or apply any force. See the video. The sound seems to be coming from either the rear shock or the place where swingarm attaches to frame. Please help in diagnosing the cause

I have sprayed WD40 oil in various places of the bike but no change in the squeak. What does this squeak likely indicate - eg any malfunction with rear shock, some loose bolts, rubbing of the frame with something?

Might have something to do with this continuing to fail? Breaking metal can squeak.

Detach one (or both) ends of the shock and move the swing arm. Does it squeak? Where?

If not, exercise the shock mounts. Put a shaft through the mount points and load them. Do you feel movement?

I played around with the compression setting. When it dial to hard (ie locked), the squeak is long sounding after the compression, as if the length of squeak is proportional to the time it takes to decompress. So I guess this is related to rear shock spring

Pretty sure the sound is coming from rear shock around the piston
Well, start there then. As for me, I would start where my bike doesn't have any silly articulation or telescoping in the frame, fork, or seatpost. Then it's easier to figure out where the noise is coming from

I agree with gromike, that looks like the weld is peeling from the bottom upwards, you may be able to see something if you remove the black side cover and look at the other side of the frame section where the shock mount is welded to the frame. It could be the shock but is it worth the risk not doing a close inspection, sometimes one gets bad welds where the penetration is poor.
