Hi,
My first post here, but I have been reading (and dreaming) for a long while now.
My question is: Do anyone know what kind of microcontroller the Hobbyking SS 90-100A (or the ss 190-200A) is built up with?
I know the 18A SS uses an Atmel Atmega8 because quadracopter people mods them to take i2c input instead of PWM, it would have been nice if the bigger ones used the same or at least an other Atmel mcu.
It would be nice if someone have a picture of the inside of those ESC.
I have been designing my own E-bike controller for some time now but it is going to be quite expensive for me to make the first prototypes, and I want an E-bike NOW! Because of that I would like to see if I can reprogram a cheap HK controller to incorporate current control and possibly hall sensor input (that is if there are enough I/O:s left on the mcu) and of course a normal throttle input. I plan to use an Allegro ACS758 hall effect based current sensor for the current measurement.
I plan to use it on a HXT 63-74 200kV motor in a friction drive configuration.
