At Vapcell (Shenzhen Vapcell Technology Co., Ltd.) from my experience they have the most up-to-date information on their Alibaba store and it's also probably the most seamless way how to order from there as well. Just click on "Chat now" and write that you are interested in a particular cell, a salesperson will contact you thru the Alibaba Messages chat and make a quote for cells and calculate shipping cost for you. The minimal order amount is usually 10pcs.

Awesome, thank you so much. I searched 50PL on their alibaba site but it didn't come up with anything, weird. May I ask how much they charged you per cell?

I've been quoted at $3-3.5/cell from some vendors

Ok they replied, 2.4 per cell plus shipping comes out to around 4.1 pre tax.

I paid $5,5 per cell from ArosenPower in March. It got cheaper real quickly

It says $2.30 on the site? Very good anyway, but are those grade A?

Probably not. What we already know is that they have excellent performance characteristics. What needs to be determined is how they will perform in terms of cycle life and especially the uniformity of parameters, which is the very essence of Grade A.

Nope. On my end, Grade A for 2500pcs is quite a a bit more expensive than that

Seems like the 50PLs on market are MP too. Interesting! JP50s starting sampling earlier this year, so we'll probably start seeing those too.

LG will be joining Samsung in launching a tabless cell sometime late this year/early next from what I hear. Wonder if Panasonic will try to get one out too?

Finally, tabless 18650 reach the small market. JP30 and vapcell Z30 (probably bak 30D) are available in aliexspress. Z30 is looking vicious:

The Z30 is looking pretty close to the LT 19660’s (JP30?) I recently tested. It will be very interesting to do a shootout with those two and the 30D!
