Lasercut would have been better, but not for my finances

For sure, the swingarm is not finished yet.

Unfortunately I can not weld aluminum, so I need to balance rigidity and weight.

Then I coated the surface with an antirust:

Hi Paul, the forks come from an Aprilia RX 50:

the frame is 1.5 mm steel

I designed 2 new aluminium hubs so they can fit perfectly. I'll then use standard 26" mtb rims :wink:

Thanks Ratking, I'm really happy because I was inspired by your beautiful bike.
Mine only has a single 80100, but the 4 speed transmission should make it really funny to ride!

Unfortunately I'm only a student and I haven't got particular machines such as a lathe or a mill, so I've to design my projects trying to minimize the need of them.

The reason why I'm building it so fast is that I just graduated at university, and on 15 of september I'll move to another city for a specialization of other 2 years, so I'm trying to finish the bigger parts before that date.
I'm working on the bike like 11 hours a day.

wow excellent job in such a short period. The swingarm looks a bit on the weak side, but I dont know the thickness of the tube, and I also tend to overbuild everything and make it too heavy :lol: .

Could you please tell me more about your fork?
Whats the weight? How much travel does it have(250mm?) ? How long is it? and What Size of Bearings do you use for it?
I am planing a frame to and haven´t really decided which fork to use.
