Altair
1 kW
I didn't have a problem with the mounts, but as I wanted the display to be more protected in case of a crash, I made an adapter out of wood, so that I could mount it on the top tube.
ozman said:My domino throttle isn't getting along with my Max-E I cant get auto detect to complete I keep getting interrupted by throttle fault.
Also in the throttle linear setting screen I get the very fast twist fault no matter how slow I twist the throttle.
I will try the 100 ohm resistor fix in the morning.
Thank you to Brooklands for emailing me this drawing

can anyone label which cable goes to 1-4 pin?

The display connector has four wires..
Brown
Blue
White
Black
If you look on the pin side of the connector each pin is numbered 1,2,3,4
Brown to 1
Blue to 2
White to 4
Black to 3
I am not sure why you have shown a cable with 5 wires and those colours, but the above combinations are what mine are. I know as i just resoldered them.
I hope that helps

The symptoms were absolutely the same with my throttle. So I am pretty sure that the resistor will fix your problem.

Also, are you saying that no precharge curcuit/resistor is needed if I use JUST the C63a you provided?
I am a bit confused :?
Absolutely. I am using my bike for more then a year. 99% times I use on/off of the controller, but also c63 when I transport the bike or leave it for a longer period.

can you explain why you would not need a precharge circuit if you use such house brakers?
from what i know they DON'T have precharge function. these are just switchable fuses. two contacts that move together or apart and nothing in there that lowers inrush current.
i cannot understant why Adaptto recommends to use them.
