Anyone knows where the "App Settings" in the VESC Tool?

That's weird, I launched the VESC Tool on other machine and the menu on the left area is bigger now and I found the "App Settings" there

OK, when I click connect VESC Express this "App Settings" menu and other menus disappear. Is this how it supposed to be?

Also anyone knows how to send message to controller with VESC Tool? I need to send message "00D431FF # 14 78 00 00 00 00 00 00" ?

I connected controller with VESC Express and in "CAN Analyzer" menu. In this menu in the bottom area I print "00D431FF #" in the ID area and dial "14 78 00 00 00 00 00 00" in the D0,D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6,D7 areas then I press "Send" but it gives me note "Unable to parse ID" and nothing happens. How should I send this message with VESC Tool? I try to follow these instructions here

You should make a new thread with exactly what you are trying to do, you haven't really provided any information on what you are trying to do. I guess you are trying to connect to a locked out VESC based controller?
Yes, I try to connect VESC Tool application to the Innotrace controller and there is a guy posted how to do this here

He said in order to do so message "00D431FF # 14 78 00 00 00 00 00 00" should be sent. My question is anyone knows how to send this message?

I think maybe your second attempt seems to be correct, how are you connected to the VESC? Looks like he used both a can-usb adapter and a VESC express but they might require different settings. Also there is a pretty good chance this will not work at all, they may have changed the unlock code for instance. These controllers are not legit VESCs, they are illegally violating the VESC license so you can't expect them to allow connection.

I connect it following the instructions from that post (the VESC Express is connected to the CAN transceiver chip (soldered on the controller board and connected to STM32) and USB cable is connected to the VESC Express).

Seeking Help with installation VESC firmware on the VESC for Bafang BLDC motor controller.

The controller schematics, firmware, display lisp code , motor xlm configuration file and everything else can be downloaded here

I flashed the firmware on the controller with ST-Link 2, then I connected to the controller a 14S battery, a Bafang SW102 display, a throttle, and a VESC Express dongle and connected it to the computer with USB cable, launched the VESC Tool application and connected it to the controller, opened and uploaded the motor configuration xlm file, opened and uploaded the display lisp code file, but the motor does not work (the display has no communication and shows error 30 and the motor does not spin when I twist the throttle).
