Will you be able to put the brake mount on that? -Damcard

That's my main question as well. I'm 230lb, deal with hills often, and i sure as hell need a rear brake.

Also, i figured i'd post up in this thread - i checked the bike out last night and can confirm that pretty much every component on this bike is a total piece of crap! Had to have the wally world employees bust out tools 3x during the test ride O_O. Frame looked solid, however the headtube / headset was knocking around in the frame. Maybe it was just loose, but..... this bike certainly was not confidence inspiring.

Can anyone confirm that the headtube machining is proper on this frame? hopefully the steerer assembly was just loose on that particular bike.

Fortunely, I did not buy complete assemble genesis v2100 bike instead I asked for non assembled bike so they went back room and pulled the big brown box. I bought 3 of them no problem and I do the assemble myself instead and so I can know how put right assemble and secure it.

In walmart, anyone can ask for non assembled bike and do it your own way. It's best method than letting idiot do assemble and doesn't care how do proper assemble the bike. You can just rid the crap parts replace better component parts on genesis frame. That's what I am doing it.

Been looking for a place to buy the Kenda Kraze tires.
Cant find em

Anyone know where to get them?

I have a set of low-mile ones, they are a great commuting tire, and an average racetrack tire. For a track I would suggest the pirellis. But they stopped making the kraze in 2007 I believe.

Love that swing arm you made.

Would you be willing to make a swing arm for other popular bikes such as Kona Stinky?

Also any pics of how that Avid BB7 mounted in the swingarm?

If there is enough interest I can build up a batch, problem is how to do it without actually having a kona stinky in hand. IF there is enough interest I will do a batch, but I have to make 5 to just break even, so if there is more than that then ill whip some up, anybody else want in? Cost would be about $150 but will go down with the number made. the last batch of 8 was $110.

I do not have a Stinky in hand

Let me do some homework and find out what model years are the same.

That way 1 arm works for MANY models.

Great contribution on the swing arm made. Good Quality fair price. Thanks for the contribution you bring to the forum.
Looks like you have got the most bang for the buck frame idea that I have seen so far.
