it's not noise sensitivity.
i am talking about their bass being so loud it actually physically shakes the walls of the building, the floor, the objects and living beings inside, and it does this for blocks around the source.
the result is as if someone is physically present in the room kicking things.
when it's just the sub bass going, you might not even hear it at all...but you will feel it. i've tried to record the problem on my phone, but it doens't pick it up on the microphone, though sometimes i can see it on the accelerometer-reading program in physics toolbox (whcih seems to only work intermittently or else the phone's imu works intermittently; i have all the rotate/tap/etc functions all turned off so i don't use the imu for any phone operations and wouldn't know if it had problems).
maybe you don't have this problem where you live, but it's not uncommon around here, where people may have car stereo systems that require separate power supplies from the rest of the car, battery banks, extra alternators, etc., to keep from stalling the car engine or damaging the engine's power supply. some of them also detune their engines so they roar really loud and braaaaap a lot.
they don't play the music part of things very loud most of the time, and often you don't even hear that as they are driving around or parked blocks away from you, but you will feel the shaking and vibration from their bass, and sometimes you can hear that part too, or you hear some things rattling from it. it's physically painful if they are near you in traffic.
or maybe it doesn't bother you or you just don't notice when someone is actually touching you and pushing you and tapping on you, though i have a hard time imagining that. when its really bad and they ahve it tuned "right", it can even make things fall off your walls and move around on countertops....which is what can happen when these "sound" systems are abused by the assholes around here.
if you still don't understand the problem, i don't know any good way to convey it other than having you experience it, which i wouldn't wish on anyone except the people causing the problem.
