I first got a board with dead battery. Threw away the batt and box etc. Got a 6s hobby king 5000. The throttle is wired. It has good brake. I fashioned a four braid of bungee I got off ebay. It is about maybe seven feet long, and stretches to double.
So, I run them one at a time, and can dictate speed. I coil my hand, and shorten the leach, and pull it toward the curb, and in this way, I tell the dog what to do. That and I taught them to turn right, and left, when I say.
So, it is relatively safe, and as long as I stay in residential, I can run at say, twenty five mph, and fly around corners, and such, and not get hit.
There really is NO other way to safely run dogs. And, I surf as they run. I cut left then right. I have heart failure, and even though no one else can run their dogs, I REALLY CANT.
