I'm a Noob and I Wanna Go 50MPH

Well, it's been roughly a year since I've embarked on my Stink-E journey. The bike has about 1400 miles on it since the conversion.

Pedaling like a madman, I've gotten it up to 33mph... not in its most current figuration. I sort of lost interest in the 50mph dream.

... though... seeing this thread pop back up to the top has changed that.

... only kidding.

im a big hestiate to think build 50mph. 1st of all,. can your ebike stable at 75kmh? and the front wheel ( what type of design it will be). the hub motor i enquire i can afford, when comes to stablity it made think of fear. before build one, stablity cannot miss out. so if i run 15cells in any other 40mm or 50mm or 32mm stator hub motor will be the speed be all the same?? anyone know this answer?

It's not hard to hit 50mph with a 1000W motor and 24s lipo. You just need to weigh a lot less than my 270lbs and have a 60-80A controller. Use the simulator on an HS3548 or 9C 2805 at 100V and 65A controller. Both will do 50mph for a short period before overheating, as will the yescomusa 1000W motor and many others if you give it enough juice.

I built my high power e-bike with a m/p 2 motor with a lyen 18 fet modded for 24s with 24s lipo 15ah pack. cost with extras a little over two grand. It handles great at high speeds over 50 mph. I used a old mongoose electric bike frame that came with a currie 450 watt motor and is built heavy duty and a large set of marzocchi forks with 2.5 hook worms and hyd disc brakes and diamond mount frame battery bags. this bike has ran over a 1000 miles since I built it two years ago, the only time I have had to put a tool to it was when I installed a throttle tamer on it. I ride 10 miles to work over some steep north Georgia hills with no problem, The motor get a little warm but not hot at all. I burnt up lot's of other brands of motors on this same ride. One while riding with icecube in his area of town. I could not be any happier with a setup. I have people follow me home wanting to know how I ride so fast, but when I tell them the price they quickly move on.

But it's still cheaper than a Stealth Bomber.
