with computers i couldnt pass pre school entrance test.... i dont know how make drawing and transfer it..... so get pencil and paper ready.... battery.Ping 36volt 12amp.... 10"x 6"x21/2".... first... aluminun 1/16x2"x18".... bend "L" shaped bottom 7" vertical 11" form tabs at each end....i.e."1 down'from each end make a 1/2" incut on each side.... next from the end cut a 1/4" strip from each side leaving a tab 1" longx 11/2 wide....at the shoulder ,on each side, there will be 1/4" incut from the tab side... with a hammer and piece of 1"dowel shape the tab to fit the tube... next... aluminum 1/8"x3"x11" bend into a square bottomed U shape... bolt this to the vertical part of the L about 3" from the top.... paint to desied color.... mounting.... for a front mount motor fasten the vertical of the L to the seat post tube and the bottom of the L to the bottom tube using hose camps around the tabs... put the battery in a bag place it between the arms of the U and run a strap aroumd the U between the brack et and down tube.... for a rear mount motor lay the the vertical of the L on the bottom tube and the base on the seat post tube... if possible theft is a concern extend the arms the U drill hole and attach a bicycle lock.. battery is secure if bike falls over battery cant hit the ground weight distribution is reasonably good...[....better than rear carrier mountg].. i hope this idea is of use to others..... it works ver well on my bike...
