What is your wheelbase looking like? I had to work my ass off to get Mk.5 to a 54" wheelbase, I am wondering what yours ended up like.

I really want to see it happen. I'm not going to be putting together something fantastic like this myself as much as I would like to.
So the next best thing I can do is live vicariously through your work.
Plus you have done so much for the community documenting your progress and findings, and providing a ripping yarn along the way.

I have been reluctant to do this, as it is ultimately my toy for my benefit. But it is reassuring to know others have gained knowledge from it too. How about this? People can buy parts for me -
I need a complete front wheel (K7 GSXR, 600, 750 or 1000) with rotors
I need a complete front brake system - callipers, braided lines, lever and master cylinder
I need a rear brake master cylinder from a mid 2000s CBR600
I need a rear Brembo brake calliper from a 1998 Ducati 900ss, and braided line.
I hope to get the inverter on lease-to-buy, but the battery will be a $7000 expense, and at least $1600 for the BMS.
If people sent me cash I would probably end up spending it on dumb shit like rent or electricity bills :lol:

ebay has been a reliable source for most of this stuff. You can always change the shipping address - that's how I did it for the forks, triples and swingarm. I just got them delivered to the Framecrafters workshop.

OK update on expenditure
I have ordered:
1 x CBR600 rear brake master cylinder from e-bay for $18. Sounds cheap, probably cause it is, but I never use the rear brake so I'm not too fussed if it only works once.
1 x Ducati 900ss rear brake disc from a supplier in Melbourne for $89 delivered.
1 x Ducati 900ss rear brake braided line from Bulgaria for $50 delivered.
1 x K7 GSXR1000 front brake braided lines from HEL in Brisbane $130 delivered.
1 x set of K7 GSXR1000 front brake calipers from the USA for $100 delivered.
1 x K7 GSXR1000 front brake master cylinder from the USA for $75 delivered.
Still shopping around for a rear brake caliper which hopefully I don't have to clean up and re-seal.

I've been busy on Ebay lately 
I found a rear brake calliper for a Ducati 900ss, paid $90 including delivery. It's covered in black paint, but I might try to tidy up all of the callipers and paint them in something a bit nicer...
Fortunately my cheque for $1000 came through on the bicycle insurance claim and I've had a couple of days work at Entecho with some more test flights. So I have ordered a front wheel Still need to get a couple of discs for it, but hopefully soon I can get it rolling and finally fix the fairing brackets to the bike.

I couldn't wait for the new front wheel to arrive, so I rolled the bike out and started to fit the lower fairing. I still had to split it up the middle, so KiM, if you want to do some glassing for me you are most welcome. I probably wouldn't need to have a completely sealed belly pan, especially since the coolant needs to be pure water on the race track (but 50/50 glycol on the road). At the Entecho Christmas party I had a good chat with Glen from Composite Components. He has offered to lay up a tank cover for me, but I have to make the scaffold and mold for him. I can do that, but I'm definitely not doing any fibreglassing. I f*#king hate that job.

Are the brake lines dual all the way from the master cylinder ?
If theres a single line from MS to lower triple clamp it will cause a restriction and slow down reaction time (not joking)
Dont know about you paint scheme though, do something more mainstream racy

Danny, yes the front brake lines are a pair going from the MC to the callipers; not compromising there. Not buying cheapo rotors either.
Abraham, that link is a beautiful specimen. Sure, my MS paint mockup looks like rubbish, but if I hand it to a designer who can stylise the flower into a neat design for the bikes livery, that would be awesome. Otherwise, I'll try to get Bankwest to sponsor me and have it painted orange...

My front brake parts arrived today!
Still waiting on the rear calliper and it's braided line as well as the CBR rear master cylinder. I'm also yet to pick up the front rotors, but they're another $300. That can wait till I've had a bit more work after Christmas.
