100 kW

I have 10kW KEB and installed thermal sensor right into the windings of the motor to cut it off at >130C. One pitfall with Kelly is that it's 5v output is not so well regulated and temerature measurement can be very inaccurate.RalterWöhrl said:Hi everyone!
1. Motor Heat / lost efficiancy:
There where a few comments where I red about temperature and lost efficiancy issues with the BHT 48V 1000W motor and the kelly controllers. Did that get sortet out?
Adam recommends the Kelly KBS72121X,55A,24-72V, Mini Brushless DC Controller in his build list, is there anything to take care of before buying these two?
2. Thumb- or Twist-Throttle?
Is that just personal preference or where are the pros and cons for one or the other on hard ridden free-ride bikes like the LMX?
Coming from an 4wheel/ATV Backround I would definitly like thumb trottle more, however after speaking to a few really good pro MotoX drivers they all were like: "If thumb trottle would give any benefit, why would not anyone riders use it?"![]()

do you have a change to measure it? Would be really informative. And also confirm the kV please.
Adam, thanks for the tip. I've been thinking of that too, but it will save only a couple mm and the top bearing will be exposed to water and mud. But no big problem, I've already bought custom 888 top crown, so I can fit almost any good headset up to 35mm stack.bzhwindtalker said:Dennis,
You can run sealed cartriges headsets without the top dust cover to gain some clearance, that's what I do on my setup, with a BBB headset.

So it isn´t actuallybzhwindtalker said:I sold Christian a frame in december 2014, this is the frame I sold him in the video. He never talked about getting more frames from me.
Edit : looked trough emails, Christian actually asked to buy more frames, last email from him on Aug 6
I've got some good SKF bearings, so it's not a problem. Supplied bearings start to rub even under small axial load.bzhwindtalker said:I will do what I can to find a solution for you!
