Modular Battery System

So I was thinking about making a modular battery system made of either 2s3p or 2s4p sections that will connect together to make a 6s to 12s battery. My goal is to make a system that can attach to any board regardless of flexibility of the deck. I would like to include a BMS but not sure how to add one with the different sections. I talked to a guy in the ebike section called Doctorbass and he said that I might just need slave boards that connect low/high voltage an power to each section then to the main board. He gave Adaptto BMS as a reference but not sure where to get one to play with. I also want to see if there is an easier possibly inexpensive solution. I have seen this done with big batteries and have emailed those companies but much to my surprise they didn't get back to me (lol). here is what I was thinking for a battery system, the mechanics will change as it moves forward and models are built. I am mainly concerned with the electronics and where to start. Any help is appreciated.

Did you try the for sale section? ;)

With a CAN bus or serial communication this is "relatively simple", each box has two high power and two rx/tx connectors on each side, onde male other female, this way you can stack as many boxes you want, each unity would act alone to balance and protectthe cells within, and the main module would be responsible for fuel gauging and cutting off the output in case a faults was reported by any of the modules, in these days there are lot's of low cell count balancing and monitoring C.I.'s

Thanks Pedrodemio for the info. Can you tell me what CI stands for and do you know of a place I can contact to get something like you are describing.
Thanks again for your help.
