This morning I was in a hurry power wouldn't work so I just pedaled. I get off work to fix things up and notice my power cord is missing which explains everything. I find it in traffic and its a wreck from being ran over. Molex connector in pieces and the female plug is damaged.

.

I tried making my own plug it didn't work and the plug that was ran over must have metal making contact because it just almost catches fire.

I have no clue where to buy a 2 pin molex to female power card I have used google, autozone, homedepot and everything. A lot of electric bikes use em so I figured it would be something easy to find on a electric bike parts site.

Probably be easiest to make one. Looks like you have a power cord with the right female end, and a 2 pin molex connector should be something you can find at an industrial electronics supply or the like for less than a couple of bucks. Strip the cord back an inch or so, crimp on the molex pins, put them back into the plastic plug block and maybe some heat shrink over it.

I don't think it's a common cord outside of the ebike world, I have no idea why it's become somewhat of a standard, the fact that connector is used widely on 120/240VAC stuff actually seems like it's probably led to several disasters.

Replace the whole plug with some 45 amps rated Anderson power poles.

Or 4 mm gold plated bullet connectors, of the type used on RC stuff, drones, etc.

Andersons can crimp on, bullets only can solder.

The power cords from a computer don't work with it.

They do, there's really no way they can't. The 3 female sockets are connected to 3 wires in the cord, usually green for the ground (bottom) pin and red/blue or black/white for the power pins. There's nothing special about that end of the cord, it's a well established standard. If you cut the 3 prong plug off the other end and connect the appropriate molex connector to the correct wires, it will work. It's just a connector, there's no brains inside it.

Those white nylon connectors are avail.on Ebay and elsewhere. Use the search word "scooter", as in "scooter electrical connectors".

Oh you connect the white cord...Not the green.
