I'm trying to get some decent rims going for my wide tyre 20" wheels, but I'm coming up stumped on rims. My instincts tell me that I'd want a 50mm ID wide rim, but I can only either find 58mm ID (fat bike rims) which are basically as wide as the tyre, or 36-37mm ID rims. Help!

Check out this chart. Looks like you should be good to go with those 36-37mm rims.

I've run a lot of 2.4 to 2.5 tires on normal mtb rims. Sure, tire shape would be ideal on wider, but for 2.5 inch I think you could go with fairly normal rim. If the wheels are yet to be built, then yeah, go with wide, but not fat bike rims.

Thanks for the tips, guys! :bigthumb: I'm ready to get this project on the road. :D Appreciate the guidance.
