Tesla spotted!

So I come home from a party tonight, can not get the usual parking spot in front of my house, so I park in front of the next house down, behind a what, I could not believe it, what was a Tesla doing in my neighborhood?

Pretty cool looking car, very sporty, low wide... When I first saw it, I was expecting to see something like Lotus written on the back of it. I mean, like how many of these things are on the road? A few hundred?

Had a big flashing red light in it, I did not know if it was the alarm or if that meant it was going to blow up. :lol:

What! no pic? next time run and get the front page of the local newspaper, and get a pic of you holding up the paper next to the Tesla to verify the date (like a kidnapping pic) or someone could claim you just got the pic from the web!

I did not think it was a big enough deal to get a picture, people must be spotting them fairly frequently. It's just got me curious to who was the owner of the Tesla visiting in my hood. I do not know of any technogeeks around, no one has big bucks here or anything I can think of that would relate to the car being here.

I talked to a guy at the Earth Fair today that was showing off a LiFe Prius that he drives for the local gas and electric co. (SDG&E) and he says there are a few around. Interesting guy, his personal car is a flooded Rabbit, belonged to a group of EV enthusiast.
