TSDZ2 rookie chainring question

Background: I'm 79 years old with hip and leg problems, I've been using shorter crankarms and smaller chainrings on my gekko trike. I'm trying to electrify it and I want to replace the stock 42T chainring on my TSDZ2 with a 34T ring. I've removed the outer screws and the ring is loose so I need to remove the spider. What's the next step please.

To remove the spider you just remove the 5 socket head screws on it's face and the crank arm. It should come right off after that.
