Hi everyone,

I mounted a TSDZ8 on my cargo bike lately. I found the overrun quit anoying when shiting gear (often shifting gear with chain under tension because overun is too long). Experienced this phenomenon with the original firmware as with the latest flashed in (version 20240802).
Does anyone has installed a shift sensor and does it make a difference?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,

Audric

I haven't yet, but I noticed there is a spare connector coming out of the motor, which I suspect is for that purpose. I'd be interested to know if it works, and what great sensor to get.

It is on my to do but low priority list. I learned to live with it.
I was told Bafang shift sensor works well with TSDZ8.

I installed the shift sensor, it works well when pedalling and shifting. I wouldn't rely on it when using the throttle though... It works but then the power from the throttle comes back very abruptly

Which sensor did you use?
Bafang?

Thanks
David
