Thanks! So I can get this sorted. Low brake will only disengage power to the motor. High Brake actually allows the use of regen then? Thanks againYes, 12 Volts.

Yes, low braking is a brake )))High Brake actually allows the use of regen then?
Awesome!! Thank you so much. If I do regeneration with just off throttle I also need to set EBS ratio % correct? There's also regeneration when you release the throttle, similar to the brakes.
Check the "SW" box.

The braking level is displayed as a percentage here, page 3

Yes, the (EBS %) percentage is the same for both the brake and gas pedal. If I do regeneration with just off throttle I also need to set EBS ratio % correct?
Ok that is good information. Thanks. I am OK with off throttle regeneration instead of it on the brake switch. Maybe I will play with both. Do you know if there is a certain RPM the off throttle regeneration starts? Or is it every closed throttle moment.Yes, the (EBS %) percentage is the same for both the brake and gas pedal.
The manufacturer doesn't recommend more than 20, and I don't know about that... I set it to 18.
P.S.
I bought myself an ECU Votol EM 100-2 GTS instead of an EM50-4.
We'll see what kind of beast it is when it arrives ))
It starts at any percentage or any rotation of the throttle/brake handle, but the reverse voltage at low wheel speeds is useless; at 50-80 km/h, things get more interesting.Do you know if there is a certain RPM the off throttle regeneration starts?
Definitely a ser!Good luck with the new controller!! Let us know
Hello, witch motor you have?Hello
My motor is 60degree phase (3000w) and my votol EM100 96v (2024 version, very new) does not like, it seems... vendor said (varchea) that this version will not work with 60 degree phase angle... mmmm strange.... it works but sometimes glitches and it gives MOTOR HALL error in the display screen. Wonder if can use this converter to change 60 to 120 degree phase simply by adding to the hall wires.

The program doesn't have display calibration.anyone know how to enable votol software display calibration settings in votol software
my display shows 48 volts and speed shows max 25 Kph on all modes
but my software is showing 78 volts on pc
Thanks
Yea you was right it was display problemThe program doesn't have display calibration.
The display itself needs to be calibrated or adjusted.
The display can also be locked at 25 km/h, and this can't be fixed.
What kind of display is it?
You can use any china display with Votol, BUTthis kind of 10$ display works with votol too i m using it
Hi, are you still working on your G5 project? How's it going? I see a few small mistakes in your settings—have you got everything under control? Best regards, ArvidHi all,
I apologize in advance for my level of English.
I have a Yadea G5 PRO scooter on which I will want to install an EM100 controller.
At this point, I can say that the scooter has the following characteristics:
3100W midd motor manufactured by Yadea.Hall angle 60 °.
2 batteries 60V, 32Ah, 45A max.
1.1V - 4.2V throttle operating range.
brake level: LOW
after scanning the whole topic, I plan to configure the controller as follows:
Setting 1:
Model: EM 100
Battery Voltage: 60V
Overvoltage: 72.5V
Undervoltage: 52.5V
Softvoltage: 55.5V
Undervoltage variation: 1
Busbar current: 45A
current phase: 9960
Throttle voltage set
Low protect value: 0.3V
Start voltage: 1.1V
The end of the voltage: 4,2V
high voltage protect value: 4,7V
Setting 2 :
Sport mode setup: not used
Downhill electric brake assist: not used
Speed limit setting: not used
Weakening flow conpensation: 34
three speed
Low 28/28
Mid 70/70
High 99/99
button 3 speed: on
Three speed default: Low
soft start: off
Setting 3 :
Pole pairs: 5
Motor type: ??
Hall shift angle: 60°
out put: to test
Moving assist and cruise: not used
double voltage: not used
reversing: not used
Can you give me your opinion on the configuration I am considering?
Thx !
Hi Haf. Could you also please send me the firmware by email? daniil.lab@gmail.com Thank you.If you need the firmware (.bin) for the Votol EM30SP

I already wrote that ST-Link is NOT possible, the device will be bricked. This is not a complete firmware file, it's 100% sure the firmware doesn't have a bootloader or something...If anyone has successfully used these files with ST-Link, I’d really appreciate it if you could note down your experience.
It's necessary and desirableCan I snip these two separate red and black wires and isolate them with heat shrink? I am using a Votol EM100 controller and did not know if the controller has to see a reading from this or not.
Ok, I can look in port settings to see. I also asked QS and while they did say I don’t need to connect the temp sensor to operate, they did not mention anything about the Votol software. It's necessary and desirable. It's not critical to not connect, but it's also advisable to disable the port in the program if there's a way
PA0-38:Ext_temp_KTY83_122 default or
52:Ext_temperatrue_KTY84_150 or
53:Ext_temperatrue_MF52_103_B3380
It will still work 100% of the time![]()
A sensor is useful if the motor really could overheat. Or if it's 80 degrees Celsius in the summerVotol software
