Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers

Ok thanks, I try it but is the same... I try on the other, old, phone... Maybe the app don't like my OS 🤷

Yes, I give all permission for the app. I think that the maybe is or the my android version (android 14 on hyperOS from xiaomi) or the firmware version of the controller... I need to try another phone to be sure. Thanks for the help!

Bonjour,

J'ai récemment installé un nouveau compteur de vitesse sur ma moto électrique. Le contrôleur est un Votol EM150 (version standard), et la référence du compteur est SCJ5066-1

1000060804.jpg

1000060808.jpg

J'ai connecté les fils comme suit :

Côté moto > Nouveau côté compteur de vitesse

Orange (fin) > Orange (clignotant gauche)
Orange (épais) > Noir (Contacteur à clé / allumage)
Vert > Vert (Masse / GND 0V)
Bleu clair > Bleu clair (clignotant droit)

Merci d'avance!

I see... let's do something. Sometimes votol controller s gets corrupt. In this case, the best is download the firmware, then send a well known good config... as base config. Then tune the values. Give some email and i will send you the firmware .bin and my base config...
Hi leyva, can you help me i have same problem my em100 cannot connect. Can i ask to sendiri me em100 firmware (non can bus) and how to re flash my em100. My email mm1ps1st1@gmail.com
Thank you

phase angle should be -60 for hub almost always, nonetheless check diferent values there and see.. if it doesnt run in any angle from -180 to 180.. then change phase and hall wiring, there are 36 combinations...
You need firmware .bin for em150, if you get it, please post it here.. I only have the .bin for em100

O, przegapiłem tę część o „tempomacie”, bo pobrałem inną wersję instrukcji... Teraz rozumiem.

You can check which cable is wired to which pin by assigning a known input (e.g. sport mode) to different wires and seeing which wire makes it trigger that input.

The function of the IO/SW/LA checkboxes is further up in the thread. They allow hooking momentary and latching controls.

I recommend using English here as that will heavily expand the user base willing to respond.

Thanks for the replies, buddy. I'm using a translator and may have some issues.
I need information on programming a new Votol 100. The old one is broken, and I have an ARIEL 2.0 tricycle with a 1.5 kW engine and I can't figure it out.
Maybe you know what engine number 138YC6050403NB221282407 is.Overall, this vehicle has a strange design because the wire colors don't match the colors on the new controller's cables and the plug in the installation is different, so now how can I know which function is on which color?

the one on the left is from the old Votol and the one on the right is from the new one and the cubes didn't fit so I modernized the old one.

Hey Guys,
I'm still not programming yet, still trying to understand most of the program. I'm reading a lot in the manual and in this thread but still haven't finished it yet.
Let's add some more comments now, haha.

Does anybody know the meaning of the small checkboxes at the port settings page(IO-SW-LA-F-U-D)? I'm very curious about this page since it can change the functions of every wire op the 8cable plug(by my understanding). Is there a list of explinations of every 56 functions?
Most of the functions aren't completly readable...I won't use the white cable for speedometer since I'm using the signal directly from the hall sensor wires. Maybe there's another interresting function I can use the white cable for?...?
Did you find information explaining the functions?

The votol neither switches on the light nor the brake light. This is usually done with a 12v voltage converter and the brake lever switches.
OK, so two years later, I still haven’t managed to get my brake light working, which seems ridiculous. Can you tell me why the Votol controller has a three wire brake light connection if the controller has no brake light function at all?

Brake is an input.
You need the brake-switch to provide power to the brake light.
When that works, you connect + from the brake light to Votols brake input pin.

The brake function is to tell Votol when you brake. It can then turn off the motor and/or enable regen.

Why does the votol em-150 wiring harness have a three wire output for a rear light? It clearly seems to be designed to control a rear light.

Good morning at all

I have a small trouble with a vol-cal, cur-cal and Flux-weak parameter.
Accidentally I had change the vol-cal parameter and my EM30S save it into the memory.

Now I can't change again this parameter, I try every sw or app but after a normal "power cycle " the parameters come back to the old wrong value.

Someone can help me to understand how to change it again?
Now I can change only the Flux-weak value (and maintain it right)

The image is only a reference on which parameters is the problem.

Thanks at all

Hey All, pretty new to controller programming, please see my current settings. I got a new Streetster RR 96V and looking to increase performance. Not sure where to start besides disabling HDC lol.

Start by checking what your battery can safely provide. Most likely any increase in performance will require a battery upgrade first.

LA - (voltage) Level Alter/logic No
F - Floating
U - Pull-Up
D- Pull-Down

Good Morning All. I have a votol EM-260SP, it only shows EM-260S on the plastic, and after trying a small change in the programming, after turning the bike off and then back on, it no longer functions. The red light on the controller stays on all the time and there are no longer any gears shown on my display and nothing when I turn the throttle. When I connect my laptop and open the software there is no voltage showing on the display screen.
Did you ever get this fixed. Thanks

Hi all!
I have a Silence S01+ My2023 and i'm trying to tweak the values for better speeds.
I have read many forums and documjents but i can't connect to the votol
I bought this and connected to PINS 4 and 16 on the CAN port with dupont cables

but i always get this error despite trying various drivers, also i got MCU TOUT on the display

what i'm i doing wrong?
Hello, I'm italian with Silence S01 too... I've the same issue, do you resolve?

Grazie!

Hi. Can anyone tell me why the odometer doesn't show full readings on both sides, but only two flashing dots at the bottom? The batteries are fully charged. Replacing the EM100 module didn't help. I've attached a photo.

One more thing. There's an old black EM100 module in the vehicle. A friend bought a new EM100 module because he thought the old one was broken, as the odometer was flashing two dots instead of showing battery voltage. After connecting the new module and powering up, the engine jerked without touching the throttle. I downloaded the bin file from the old module and saved it in the new EM100. After powering up, the engine no longer jerks, but there's no response to turning the throttle. Is there any difference in the outputs between the old and new modules? Do I need to do any throttle adaptation in the copied software? I took pictures of the settings in the old module, and after connecting the new one, everything is the same.
