Was going to buy a BionX system for $1600, but bought a triumph for $350 instead (in Ottawa). Last one in the store and it had obviously been returned by someone else. However, I have a 90 day return period, so I'm not too worried.
It didn't have keys, but WalMart went out of it's way to get me keys. First I had to return the bike, then walmart contacted triumph which sent walmart about 1000 keys. The managers tried the keys 1 by 1, until they found the right one! Then I bought the bike back. I guess triumph is not familiar with the "serial number" concept.
Anyway, no keys (initially), and no manual! Can anyone tell me how long I should charge the battery? Is there anything about the bike that is not obvious, even to a total newby? Also, the front headlight is disconnected and there are two wires hanging from the taped up set of wires running under the main post of the frame. It's pretty clear that one or both of these wires is supposed to connect to the headlight. It's clear where one of the wires plugs into, but it's not clear where the second one goes. Could anyone tell me?
Finally, I think it's obvious WalMart doesn't know much about this whole e-bike thing since I got mine from the toys department.
