Source for a custom shaped batteries

It wasn’t really a helpful post, Just an observation. On a useful note, the guys with experience and reasonable prices usually don’t advertise such. They are already making money and usually only take on less profitable work when they are slow. But if you post an offer of what you are willing...

Source for a custom shaped batteries

Sorry I don't mean to highjack the thread but I hear this sentiment alot and I would like to address it. I'm from Canada so those numbers are 35% higher than US dollars. However I find that it is difficult to find a lower rate worldwide for quality custom work, I speak decent Thai and my sister...

    ASI BAC compatible dashboard (LCD)

ASI charges a fair bit for the software needed to create custom interfaces. I doubt you will get one for free, if you do, please share it if possible.

Source for a custom shaped batteries

I don't mean this in any way aggressively but, I have a couple cell welders and have built enough custom batteries to say that $100-$200 dollars labour to build a custom 14p 7s is almost insultingly low. Anyone I would trust to make me a custom lithium pack should be charging $500-$1000 a day...

To part out or sell whole?

In the opinion of the forum, when moving on and disposing of ebikes or parts, can you generally recover more value by parting out and selling the components or selling finished bikes? I know this is very broad, but I've found unless im building a bike specifically for someone, it seems hard to...

addition of lights and usb charger

Ooooo good luck with that, but generally thats a big no no. Any voltage drop on the power supply going to the receiver can cause an intermittent loss of power. Ride with safety gear. On planes and quads that kind of mod is known to cause crashes when the receiver looses power and the esc stops...

    Hobby King Turnigy wires

If memory serves from school the electrons do actually care. Electron flow is biased toward the skin of the wire. So higher strand count has slightly less resistance. That said in these applications it doesn't really matter. Just a fun fact.

BMS questions for 1000 watt 25-35 ah battery build

All 18650 cells have a maximum discharge rating. The manufactures of laptops choose cells with more capacity or lower price rather than high discharge. Laptops don't need high amperage. So 1 c is a good assumption. So 1c x 2.2ah (good guess at your cells capacities) x 10 parallel in the...

    new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

The motor tends to twist along a nearly parallel axis to the down tube. If your going to go through the effort of that kind of mount, why not just remake the whole mounting system?

BMS questions for 1000 watt 25-35 ah battery build

P- goes to bike negative C- goes to charger negative B- goes to battery negative Bike and charger positive do not go through the bms. They are attached directly to the battery positive. Don't solder the cells together. Lappy batts already have high internal resistance. Soldering will make it...

So you bought a Chinese built kit from someone who is actually willing to attempt to live on the tiny margins that comes with selling ebike gear. And for a good price too! How to remotely control pump engine?

There is a half dozen ways to do it with rc stuff. However, RC stuff really is not meant to run 24/7. Also for reliable communications under those conditions it is unlikely 2.4ghz which is cheap and standard will work. So then you have to go to a mhz system at 433 or 72 and that stuff is...
