E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

The latest and greatest gen/iteration of the Stealth Bomber, aka the B52R. The Hbox that replaced the Vboxx is a wide ratio 6 speed unit. I have yet to try it, but based on my experience with the old Bomber, I was usually double shifting up, I felt like 3, 5, 7, and 9 were the best and most used gears. 3 was the gear I used the few times I pedaled home due to a dead battery. 5 and 7 were the offroad pedal assist gears which I used the most, and 9 was road riding and tall enough to pedal assist at 40MPH and with high cadence, even more. Anyway I will end up with one these latest gens at some point.

They both look too porky to me. I would take either one of my bikes over a new one. I'm sure I'm pretty biased though. This is Electronaut, and Bullwinkle

I will let you know when I get my in. But from some of the videos I have seen that I am unable to share, they are a game changer as far as hub motor powered two wheel machines go in terms of handling, hill climbing log jumping and overall performance.

Hey all, just wanted to say hello. New to building bikes. Wanted to share my build bike is a 72v 60A QS273 3t Stealth with 2000 miles on the clock, and my new daily ride is a CTY2.

Current projects: upgrading the rear wheel to a 19 x 2.15 Excel , chain tensioner and new highspeed free-gear, and pit bike brake conversion.

I'm excited to be part of this community. Cheers.

Yah! welcome to the club! What Stealth E Bike model is that exactly? It doesn't look like the Bomber, the Fighter, the Hurricane, P7, or any of the legacy models. I thought I was fairly Stealth Electric bike savvy, but now I just don't know.

Its just a CHN SB Clone, Alibaba edition lol, I am not sure of the specifics. Right now the build has 2300 miles. I am planning on tearing it down and rebuilding it once my CTY2 is back up (just waiting on a new charger).

Some describe it as the "wide" body clone. My bike has a sheet metal "cap" that is on top of the frame. The SMVC is mounted on the inside, upside-down, and that cap covers the mounting hardware that otherwise would be exposed. The seat frame has been dropped as well (I ride only surface streets, no off roading). This does change the profile quite a bit.

Thanks for the welcome! I am excited to be part of this community.

I was at Stealth HQ the other day with my P-7R (I live like 15 minutes drive from them) and was told that there is a new version of the P-7R coming soon. Just a couple of kg heavier, ~same top speed, but more torque/grunt. Apparently it'll be called the P-7RR, but it seemed like they weren't 100% on what the name might be.

Hi all, I've been lurking and loving my b52 for a few years now, it helped heaps with my post surgery recovery, I have recently been looking for an update and due to the lack of dealer interest in Wellington New Zealand have just ordered a Bonnell 775mx, I wanted the newer f37 or P7-R but couldn't get any follow up so decided to go rogue.
Fitted indicators, mirrors, guards and lights rebuilt the gearbox fat 18"rear and proper 21"front but swingarm flex limits offroad. I've just made a single speed adapter to eliminate the gearbox completely since it's effectively obsolete.

I just wanted to say this forum (especially the hardcore members) has been a huge help and resource, I hope Stealth can market their new toys well, it would be a shame to see them stumble at this stage.

Where’s the best place to purchase a new battery for a Bomber (#366). I’m located in Colorado and debating on whether to replace the original battery or just sell the bike with the dead battery. The bike has about 1000 miles on it. Never been dropped so it’s bordering on immaculate for its age but I rarely use it so debating whether or not to invest in a new battery or let the bike go. When I google new battery for it I get so many options it’s a little overwhelming to know what’s a good battery that won’t self ignite and a decent price.

This Tuesday was a great day. The latest version of the B52 R Bomber arrived in Nevada from Australia. After getting this bike uncrated, assembled, charged, and preventive maintenance check on the entire chassis, I set the DC1 too "Competition" mode and took it for its maiden voyage shake down ride. All I can say is HOLY $h!T!!! This thing almost through me off the back when I took off! The QS273 hub motor is so much more of a monster in terms of size and weight and power output over the previous Clyte 54XX and the later H55 series motors that they are not even in the same category. Front wheel is a standard DH Rim and 27.5" MTB tire for gravity riding, and the rear is a 1.60 X 21 rim with the Mitas Enduro Trail XT 90/90-21. That's the same size of tire that's on the front of the orange bike next to is. Speaking of the orange bike, its a 2024 KTM 890 Adventure Rally edition. Comes in around 460# and puts out about 103hp at sea level. I think my new B52R can stay with that bike and maybe even beat it right off the line from 0-30MPH, if I can stay on it and keep the front wheel down at the launch. Stealth's propriety H Boxx 6 speed with electronic shifting is flawless. Push the the button up for upshifts and down for down shifts. It's so quiet you only know its shifting because the pedal cadence changes, but is silent other wise. The power output is just awesome. I hit 56MPH and it was still pulling a little bit. If I went to a smaller a lighter 80/90-21 or the Shinko 2.75-21 SR241 on the rear, this bike would blow past 60MPH for sure. The brakes are actually motorcycle calipers and rotors, probably similar specs to 85CC MX bikes such as the Kawasaki's KX85 or KTM's SX85 with 16/19 wheels. The battery is a 22s and looking at 92.4 volts HOC. Stealth was looking at different cells and I am not sure which cells they settled on for this pack. But based on the non R model, the AH storage is probably somewhere between 28 and 35 for this pack. The Fast Ace suspension is surprisingly perfect for my 208 pounds. Its perfect out of the box and I don't have to respring or re-valve anything. All in all, this is THE BEST iteration of the Bomber ever made. This next riding season, plan on seeing some videos of this bike in action on my YT channel.

Edit: Just learned the battery is a 22s 40AH pack! The front rim was designed inhouse to be as strong as a MX front rim to fit the 27.5" Eddy Current tire.
