Brake
100 W
Thought I might just mention that I went 22s @ 10kw to 21s @ 14kw with no overheating issues.

I'm looking for torque. Not necessarily top speed. I think 60 mph is a speed that you rarely use the bike at. All the technical specs of the capacitors are here in this thread. I don't want to incorrectly quote them.

I am at the same boat looking for torque more than top speed. isn't 22S running less amp for the same power?
1s more or less might be not big deal. if i want a simple safe balancing solution for the BMS, i think either 20S or 24S
then i am not sure if lower V is safer or lower amp

So if i understand it correct, it is better to choose a 18S config instead of 24?
Yeah its not the settings because I am getting no signal to the controller when I try calibration. Think I got a duff throttleDirtech said:Anybody know what settings I should use for variable regen using a wuxing thumb throttle? I am sure I have it wired properly but when I push it nothing happens.
ridethelightning said:have you checked the readings on the wires from the throttle with the meter? sometimes the wires get frayed off where they join the pot. could be as simple as a broken wire...
sure you got the correct wires from display??
I will probably be using 80amps current from the battery max i reckon and what ever the phase amps 190 maybe what do you think is that asking a bit much of the Max-e with a 22s packBrake said:For cell longevity I would only charge to 4.08 v. I'm at 21s and only charging to 4.00v. Still have plenty of power and capacity. When I was running 22s I tried to keep it under 90 volts. There are other variables to consider, like how many max amps are you planning, etc.
Thanks BrakeBrake said:I never had any problem doing that while on 22s konian cells. It was a lot of fun too. My voltage sag was probably higher than what you will have. I tried to take it easy between full amps and then high regen, paused for a second between.
I didnt have any problem connecting mine first, infact due to a stuff up on on the balance taps I ended up soldering several of the wires straight to the board. I imagine they're made to be plugged and unplugged if removing the battery from the bike etc.Jonboy said:Thanks guys..
Allex, so the bms should not be plugged in to the balance leads if it isn't attached to the controller & powered up? :?
Allex said:You can actually plug them in how you like, in whatever order and also swap them while everything is ON. As long as the connector wiring is correct![]()
