You can see in the picture above that I posted of the throttle that I need to cut the sheath (black insulating protecting material) right down the centre. Hopefully it peals back easily.
ebikes.ca have been so great with their responses to a demanding customer.
My first experience riding was not a grin, I was actually kind of freaked out by how when I let go of the throttle it would power forward for another second.
Justin said "increase the down ramp rate to something really high like 20 V/sec" will do that for the next ride.
Will upload a vid of how the bike looks in the next few hours. no riding video for now.
Went into supercheap too and bought some tough looking cloth tape, huge zip ties and spiral stuff for wiring. I got tons of goodies to play with
the tape is really tempting to make my own really simple top tube saddle bag....
Things to note. I was flying over 65kmh today so no chance to exercise. I can see I could extend my distances greatly with the extra battery but the temptation to rip it is huge, so not really much more distance. Oh for the wheelie thing yeah I was expecting them so was careful, but quickly discovered the ramping of the throttle was super smooth on the way up - I love it, so it feels like theres less torque. Yes the amps are exactly 40.5, so bit less with this controller...
Overall most of hooting was around 2666 whats for some reason. higher at first but that number sticks in my head
Also it is the first time just on road riding has sent me over the 90 degree mode with lipo. Also the first time I've gone around a corner that I always go around fast and thought I really felt centripetal force.
Lots to say, time to have a beer.
