Hi,

I am currently starting an upgrade of my built from 13s to 18s,
my concern is that I won't be able to use my cheap "turniigy" like power meter since it's rated to 60V max
I know most of you will recommand me a CA but I can't afford it : instaed, if I buy 3 turnigy powermeter, I guess I could monitor each of the 3 6s packs making the 18s...

Any other cheap option ?

I dont really know what a turnigy power meter is but I've found these things pretty useful. They only read voltage but will plug into the balance connector up to 8s and reads total voltage and then displays each cells voltage. They also have an alarm feature that you can set the low voltage alarm for cell.

Thank you. 14000+ posts dnmun !?
I did not think at dnmun option : I could even get along with only one powermeter connected to only one pack,
I would measure only a third of the total voltage, but the A and Ah readings would be right.
I like yawstick option too : maybe I make a mix of both! :)

...or a "battman"
