Dammit Matt, what color are you gonna anodize these? I'm also interested in 24" rims. It's like you are cornering the market in high performance Ebike paraphernalia.
I think you should get a website up so that if someone wants to know where to find the sickest of the sick , than I can just guide them onto your site for thier viewing pleasure.
Honestly, I do not have time to put into the site.
Oh, the main reason I did not make any 24 inch rims is because the "Large Marge" rim is available in that diameter.
However, I can get 24 inch rims made. I have to order 100 rims at a time for a production run, though.
I am trying to figure out the best rims to have made. I know 20 inch rims appeal to others beyond E-bike guys. The 24 inch is a good size for unicycle guys as well.
Hmm, have to think about this more.
I just wish I had more time to devote to the E-bike market without making my other business suffer.
I do enjoy all the research and prototyping, however.
I have to take a few pics and post them, I know. Sorry for the wait. There is not much to show, however. They are just aluminum rims. But, what would be good is to post a picture of the 16 and 20 inch rims next to standard one inch wide rims to see the difference.
Oh, I have one set going to the powder coater today with my trike frame to be coated yellow and cleared.
You can see the front rim against the stock rim. The front rim is nearly twice as wide as the stock rim. The rear rim is even wider than that. It is exactly twice the width of the stock rear rim.
I am boxing up a few rims today to be black anodized. These rims in the pic (and one more front rim) are already at the powder coater for some "Safety Yellow" and clear.
I would like to get a set of 20" wide rims 36 hole for the pirelli ML75 http://www.us.pirelli.com/en_US/browser/attachments/pdfCatalog/moto/ML%2075.pdf
They come in a 2.5 and a 2.75 width.
Any idea how wide they need to be and how much a set would be?
