I got a pair of 1.85"x20" dirt bike rims. Ive been thinking of lacing them to motor but havent been able to find any tires that would fit.
Is 20" moped/dirtbike rim out of date ? no more tires productions? All i ever see are 17" and 19" tires.

Thanks.

You can find 19 and 21 MX and Trial tires easily, but 20 is found only as a street tire for vintage motorcycles. I would try a 26 bicycle tire, it should be pretty close and if it does fit you'd have a lot of choice in DH tires.

26" bike tires wont fit as the rim really is around 20". Maybe if i can try 20" bicycle tires.

Yep.

Still, my suggestion for a 26 was a mistake. I believe it is a 24 bicycle tire that should be close to a 20" motorcycle rim.

would 21" dirt bike tires fit ? if not inflate too much? 0.5" clearance would make changing a breeze? 8)

Stretching a 19 onto 20" would probably be impossible. I'll try getting a used 21" to test fit it. :D Report back.

Editted:
I had a 24" bicycle tire in another bike and measured it. It seemed like it would fit the 20" MC rim so I tried putting it on and voila! It fitted like a glove. But the mc rim depth is a bit more and alot thicker on the sides. So im thinking the Fat tire 24" will be perfect for it.
I did find an oldstock 20" MC tire but cost $90+ for each tire...so not going that route. So looks like 24x3-4" will be good for these old rims.
