Fibretech FlyPAN 2015 Dual Diag 12S

Yeah, GT2B is ridiculously reliable. I highly recommend it as well. I wish it was in a smaller form factor. I've never had it drop connection ever. This is on about 1400+ miles.

As for the Wiiceiver you do have to work with it and make sure you aren't dropping a connection. I have had a few issues but others have had no issues at all. I assume if you are having issues you would want to mount it on top of the board facing your controller which can possibly be an inconvenience. I seem to be having a drop connection in heavily populated metro areas here in San Francisco. However, in certain areas it will perform flawlessly for miles on end these are usually areas which don't have many bluetooth broadcasting going on I assume. I also think it is an issue with the ESC that we are particularly using. Austin has tested it on HK 150A, Hobbywing 150A and FVT 120A and they work a ton better than the typical dual 120a escs that you see here.

I suggest if you are having issues with it to switch over to a standard 2.4ghz RC car transmitter/receiver.

I'm waiting on Vedder's open source ESC to see if the Nunchuck for his setup does the same thing in the same area that seems to trigger my nunchuck to disconnect. As I believe, this issue lies within the ESC itself. Guess we'll wait and see.

thanks for the feedback.

I could replace the 150A ESC with two 150A ESC from Tekin... that would be top notch expensive board, only problem is to have perfect sync between both ESC! Am I wrong ?

well the gt2b is really easy to make smaller .as the handle is completely hollow..but it sits pretty nicely in your hand and sits on the ground nicely..so i just left it as it was..

:) we had the same thoughts ! I ordered yesterday a RC transmitter from Hobbyking.

This controller has failed on me causing a fall. Also I had several problems with sinking up. I gave up and threw it away.

I also had about 2 of those quantum RC transmitters and never got them working. The bind process was a inconsistent.. It worked one time and tried to re-bind again to make sure it would bind correctly and it never sync'ed together again. Spent about 2 hours and gave up.

thanks all for your feedback. I am waiting from the new transmitter. I will get the APS one as soon as it's ready as I fully trust their electronics.

I will keep you posted, really nice to see such community involvement :)

Well, you may all think I'm a bit mad... but I was looking to add something... more stylish to the dragster... but I don't have a 3D printer... damn it.

Yeah, those neopixels are pretty awesome. I believe, you can add them to your Receiver. Downside is that they aren't waterproof I think and would get pretty dirty.

Checkout ekicktech.com It's a pretty nice set of lights which you can attach to the bottom of your trucks also has a red light as well. I bought one but it takes about 3 weeks or so as they are made to order. Seemed like the best one I've seen. http://www.ekicktech.com/#gallery

Beetsbocks - When are those RC controllers that you have available?

nothing wrong with some LED's.. :D
some of my creations...using Ebay eagle eye 12v LED's and 12v LED's strips..just use a voltage transformer..and I also use transmitter switches for a cool remote on/off

well, it's not working, as when I push you see that nothing happens, then one motor starts... then wait, then two starts... that's quite weird and unstable.

When I was into RC, when I push throttle, motors starts immediately... here, there's something wrong, which is really shown on this video. I have to be sure that everything is fine before getting back on this board and making sure the transmitter is flawless is the primary objective!

what can I do? change the transmitter? can it come from ESC ?

I am useing the quanum controller and i have the same issue. After all the beeps the trigger does nothing. I wait about 5 sec and then after I use the throttle trim than both motors start running. (Some times only one starts and I have to re-do the process.)

I remember one time I forgot to wait and do the whole procces instead I just kicked off and rode and for some reson both motors just worked. Don't know why and forgot to test it again. I'll post a video soon.

Over all I never lost signal and it's a tiny controller! Fits right in my pocket. Booted up te first time without problems thank god!

Thats a nice idea and design.. no UK shipping....bummer...
These look pretty rad also-http://thirdkindbeyond.com/

I will be receiving the beta test model of the hand control this week off Bruno- I will be testing and giving feedback ..so depending how that goes..a few weeks hopefully.. Bruno has had to put a very large amount of money and considerable time and effort to get these to market..dealing with China is a nightmare.... I'm pretty proud of my design..my inspiration was many hours of watching star Trek as a youth..its a phaser...lol
Its looking pretty nice ..and is packed with features..
2nd channel to turn on either the board or some rad LEDS
Digital Trimmable power limit and brake power- so you can let beginners on your board at 50% power
all new micro pots on trigger ..

here are some photos of the rearranged setup. I removed eagletree stuff cause it was a tight fit, plus i want to remove potential issue variables, still keeping the wii receiver until I get the new transmitter for testing purposes. Wiring is basic and simple. The alien power switch sits below the ESC.I may plan to remove the bullet connectors motor side and solder directly each wire to each wire. But honestly, I cannot make is simpler.

guys, I learnt and still learning a lot from you, so here's time for me to give back to the community.

here's a side to side Evolve and DIY board setup I just did. Hope it helps. You will notice on the DIY board that the nunchuck is acting quite weird with the APS 150A ESC. Works but weird. I came back to slow acceleration on my DIY... until I find what was going weird last week. I am convinced that medium accel is the only way to go on these board :) Give you a good pack of adrenaline, but you want to avoid boards with flex... and put decent bushing (venoms)

I also picked my regular tesseract deck for a short cruise. What an awesome board, and I am not a loaded fan.

smooth ride today with some friends, just getting back on the board quietly; I have not pushed it to max speed yet, just having fun in Paris (and a bit afraid of a new superman flight!). I will put LEDs on both, because when night come... this is a bit dangerous to cruise without being seen by others. Slow acceleration on ESC is really less fun than medium acceleration but the board seems to behave better :)

I really like the neo pixel LED, the fact that it's like a UFO with lights moving around the deck - I need this but maybe without front LED which look like circles (and I'm not fan of that).

Nice photos! Definitely right about being seen in dark and/or seeing the road especially in a city where potholes can make you do superman.

I got one of these.. just waiting for it and will post some pictures. Looks to be one of the best I've found as far as lighting goes.
