Only 1.56 for regular and 2.59 for premium here?
At Costco, not everywhere. Don't understand why premium is so high. Maybe because Costco gets at least a load of regular a day here and not premium.

Petrol and diesel just settled at GBP 0.99p a litre in the UK recently so that's about USD 5.51 a US gallon.

It's a big difference from the GBP 1.24 we were paying a little while back.

As the diesel Enfield motorcycle does 180 mpg (imperial = 150 mpg US) I won't worry abut it too much.

$0.69 cents here in Saskatoon, been really awesome for the past month. I'd trade higher prices for a less-worthless Canadian dollar though... really cramping my purchasing from american bike parts vendors.

cheap as it sounds, that's 50 cents USD, for a liter... $1.89 USD per gallon. still cheaper in the USA! however by Canadian standards its crazy cheap... I used to pay $1.50 CAD a liter in Vancouver, and I was using more gas then. here I just use my car for getting to work for the time being... but not for long.

Tax is GBP 0.5795 per litre but we also pay 20% VAT (Value Added Tax = cost of being in Europe) on the total.

The actual cost of the fuel without tax is around GBP 0.25 per litre.

Yep, it's about 80% tax at the moment, so the fuel itself is 20p/litre (under $1.20 U.S. Gal.) retail, so I guess.

FWIW, V.A.T = Sales Tax and a litre is approximately a US quart (1.05 qt)

Russia announced a deal to dramatically increase the crude oil they supply to China, sent ripples through the refinery output block auctions (less oil bought from middle east)...unleaded dipped to $1.29 here in Kansas, where the interstate highway 70 crosses the state highway 77...

OK, I think its official that gasoline prices, adjusted for inflation, are as low as they've ever been. Its still just a blip, but current politics make it seem that the average may become statistically significant.

In the meantime, I might start delivering pizzas in my Roadmaster. :wink:

depends on how you adjust it for inflation.

If you look at it the right way, my money is worth less than half as much as it was in the 90s.
so right now is the abotu same as that year that gas was around 98 cents a gallon... but not as low as the summer that it hit 70 cents...
