There is NO shock at 48v, unless your hands are wet and touch the metal connector part. The shock is nothing!
Have you ever got a shock from 120v? That one wakes you up this one is like licking a 9v battery.
The only worry about connectors is hooking them wrong. I did it 2 times, both times it was a real eye opener. No flames just sparks and destroyed connectors.
DrkAngel has made it as easy as possible. I had made it that way but I guess you didn't understand it at the time.
I am still using 4mm bullets on the LiPos but Andersons on the controller. You will normally get a spark when you hook up the controller but not a concern as shock wise. You kinda jump in the beginning but get use to it after a while.
