You have to flash sw102 as well for it to work. There were additional changes to support TSDZ8.But the SW102 display stubbornly shows: "Waiting for TSDZ2..."

SW102 was flashed with sw102-otaupdate-20.1C.5-1-1.zipYou have to flash sw102 as well for it to work. There were additional changes to support TSDZ8.
Where do you get a SW102 that comes with Bluetooth for otaupdating?SW102 was flashed with sw102-otaupdate-20.1C.5-1-1.zip
and TSDZ8 controller with OSF_TSDZ8_860C_KATANA_V00_01_35.hex
I thought so too, until TSDZ2B shi... broke down at 950 km... If TSDZ8 does the same even at 1950 km, I will forget about the Tongsheng brand forever.I may in the future buy a TSDZ8 but not now.
I bought it on AliExpress (with a black button (not orange)) for about $45.Where do you get a SW102 that comes with Bluetooth for otaupdating?
astronaut It's a case of horses for courses my mullet bike with a TSDZ2 mid-drive has now reached nearly 6500 kilometers as I have said elsewhere running the OSF and third bearing upgrade, I have built bikes with TSDZ2(B) mid drives for a number of friends and they are still running, but I only apply mild mods thro' the OSF. If I wanted more performance I would go back to a bike I had years ago which was a triumph bonneville.I thought so too, until TSDZ2B shi... broke down at 950 km... good for you, mine broke 3 times before reaching 1000km. I had OSF, temperature sensor and thermal mods. Had to replace the controller at 500km, blue gear at 800 and after the one way clutch broke at 1000km it went straight to the bin. I had a shift sensor and brake cutoffs installed and was running it on mostly flat terrain at cadence around 100-120, it wasn't even getting warm. Maybe I don't know how to ride and that's why it broke?astronaut It's a case of horses for courses my mullet bike with a TSDZ2 mid-drive has now reached nearly 6500 kilometers as I have said elsewhere running the OSF and third bearing upgrade, I have built bikes with TSDZ2(B) mid drives for a number of friends and they are still running, but I only apply mild mods thro' the OSF. My TSDZ8 broke the first day of use, after 31Km, brand new motor from PSW.I thought so too, until TSDZ2B shi... broke down at 950 km... If TSDZ8 does the same even at 1950 km, I will forget about the Tongsheng brand forever.
I wanted to say the same thing, but you beat me to it. And yes, I also had additional bearings and thermal pads inside.good for you, mine broke 3 times before reaching 1000km. So it's not a minus, but a plus — especially when someone is wise. I like listening to the recommendations of wise people, and you are exactly that.I'm a bit older than yourselves, been riding bikes for over 60 years, in other words an old fart.

We provide TSDZ8 OSF preflashed SW102 displays with Bluetooth update capability. They are supplied directly by the manufacturer with the BT enabled. They haven't been taken apart to flash the OSF. The OSF is updated to the latest version via Bluetooth. Fully compatible with TSDZ8 motors.
Hey weird question but I got a display from you guys, I can't remember the exact firmware number but the menu was slightly different. Motor foc was a menu item in motor params and the was also some other minor differences. Since then I flashed a few bins and bricked it (ba flashing hardware it's sorted now) and I edited my own tweaks and compiled it using the latest source from colour_lcd_860C and now there's no motor foc menu item. mstrens added it so it can be changed with ADC brake a while ago so it's still there for me. Do you know which version had the motor foc menu option and if it was an older/newer or maybe a custom build by you guys? The latest firmware supports both SW102 and 860C:

do you use throttle? (if yes - how often?)I have been ridden now 6036 kms and now when I climb hill up motor gives sound grrrrr like unsynchronized transmission. I wonder where is the fault. Sound disappear when I stop pedalling but comes again when motor gets more power.
