I just installed a TSDZ8 from PSW to replace a dead TSDZ2B OSF (was from Electrify Bike). The TSDZ8 doesn't work with my existing 1T4 harness - error 30 on any display. I had to install the VLCD5 with its harness to get things rolling.

Is there a way to replace the VLCD5 with a display that will work with the stock 5.1 firmware that PSW provides? (They haven't answered my support questions.)

Or do I have to go down the OSF rabbit hole to use a different display? TIA.

Hello, I've had my TSDZ98 (750w) mid drive motor for a while now and its been functioning great on my bike. The only issue I had with it was that the PAS even at level 5 wasnt strong enough to feel effortless for me so I wanted to alter the software to increase it. So I followed the guide from mstrens on github and everything was working fine until I measured the ADC minimum and max and input it into the Java configurator and flashed it to my bike, which gave me the Error 02 constantly on the display when I turned it on. So I'm stuck at stage 5. My Display is the EKD01 and my ADC minimum values is between 118-119 on the display and the max is 305 when im on the pedals.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I every one, I'm evaluating to install open source frmw on my tsdz8.

Questions:

1) I have ha jlink v9 with connector for TSDz8 speed sensor, can be used to program 860c?

2) Where I can find 860c stock firmware? Any one have one?

3) or.... with j flash, can I backup stock firmware?

hey everyone, have OSF for the sole reason that i want to have throttle only when pedaling, and im getting constant error codes (E09) that i cant seem to be able to fix + the firmware feels weaker than the original
is there any way to do that with the original firmware?(or the update version)

i have the vlcd05 with a 750w motor

--> No, Jlink is used to program the motor, but for the 860c display, you'll need a USB to UART adapter and a boost converter, like this :

2) I don't know.

3) The tool you'll use to flash with the RS232 (usb-ttl adapter) is APT Burn Tool. And i'm not sure you can read and backup the original FW with this kind of tool.

Hi all!

Got a Tsdz8 with B02N-TS display from PSW-power this fall. Installed it and all ran as expected.
Could set speed limit for assist to 30 km/h using the display without problems.

Recently the motor stared capping assist at 25 km/h. Checked in display and no only had speed limit been reset to 25 km/h but I can no longer change it.

For what it's worth, here is Googles explanation.

"On a TSDZ8 e-bike system, the assist speed limit frequently reverts or toggles automatically because pressing the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously acts as a quick shortcut that toggles between a default legal restriction (typically 16 mph / 25 km/h) and your custom-configured menu limit"
