I dusted this thing off the other day. One cell each pack was bad so I picked up zippy 5800 packs in 2s and threw them in. They come with this huge 8 guage wire so it was a pretty tight fit.
I took it out to a local park today and had a blast. I'm looking at updating my other board while I'm at it. So much fun with these things.

I'm curious if anyone that checks this knows if theres a single channel remote yet?

hey rs4race - great that you rode it again. Still one of the best in-deck-electronics builds! I have a similar double thick deck (Omen Chief) in process (a year of a little at a time) i'm working on squeezing electronics into now.

The best remote i've found is still the GT2b - re-enclosed in badwolf, or one of the newer thicker versions like Master Cho ($ on ebay), Baby Buffalo,Flatline's. I'm going to try the BB and Flatline's next. I have a spare GT2b in badwolf if you want to give it a try?

@rs4race : for the decks, did you take an Omen Chief, and just start adding more layers to it...? using a vacuum press, or something different?

I went up to Omen's shop (short drive N from me), and they had a couple remaining decks setup like this. it's a double thick deck from them. Pretty sweet and just begs for sinking electronics into it.

hats off to RS4Race for getting this setup w/ them! If you want one i'd give them a call and ask if any are left?
