Thanks, that's too bad, but I'm learning to live without regen, even though the range decrease is noticeable. Your link is consistent with this one I found, that also lists the max phase current as 240A which is impressive. The link I found describes it as FOC too.gobi said:E-HP,
I looked on alibaba to see if I can the manufacturer of this controller,
I found this:

I messaged them and asked if regen braking is possible and PC programming,
They said NO to both questions.

None of the links I've found so far mention anything about programming it, even though it appears to have a programming port. However, looking at the same website, there a several smaller programmable FOC controllers, including one that is capable to driving two BLDC motors. Similarly, they are half heat sink, so probably dissipate heat well, given they are decently spec'd.
This one is 50A and 120A max phase current. Not as small as something like a phaserunner, but 1/3 more phase current, so might be nice for a smaller, but not mini, controller with FOC, regen and programmable, but with fewer bells and whistles. Probably makes a good setup if you put a Cycle Analyst in front of it.

Here's the Dual motor BLDC controller, never saw this option before:
