Votol EM-100 & EM-150 controllers

hello. I need help. I have seen that votol em100 controllers have a self-learning function. can someone help me in this regard

With firmware version 2.33, the Hall Shift angle can be determined with the self-learning function

I have that same version but I don't know how to do it or activate it. Could you help me or guide me in this regard. Thank you.

Works for me, with em 150 s (no - 2, the one with three plugs) just take a known port that already works (sport mode switch for me)

Thank you very much but it doesn't work in my case. my controller is EM100.

Too bad, it didn't work with another em 150 with firmware 2.32 either. But with 2.33, I would have hoped, that it would also work with em100. hmmm the chinese...

On youtube I found someone who gives him a bin file that by the name of the file is for that purpose. and performs a few steps very similar to those you sent me and it works in your case. I sent him an email asking for the file but he still hasn't responded.

hello friends, i have a problem and hope you can help me, i have a cabin scooter ( tol 1500dkz ) with a 72v 80 ah and 100A lithium battery and a 72v 1800w 3900rpm mid motor. now i have bought a votol em-100 and am trying to adjust it. With a shift angle of -120, it also drives quite well, but as soon as I drive over 35 km/h and let go of the throttle valve, I can't accelerate again until I've come to a standstill again. If I drive over 45kmh and let go of the throttle, the engine starts to shake and rumble heavily. until I'm under 35kmh again.

Was pleasantly surprised when my new em150 just connected to my computer with zero fuss. Was successful in changing the battery voltage and saving it but the model keeps reverting to a em100, should I be concerned?

Dont ba affraid with model chosen, it doesn't matter to any settings.

E-vader 72v 2000w. Changed the lead acid batteries to these lifepo4 ones. Changed the stock controller to a em-100. Ever since it's basically a paper weight. I tweak things here and there but can't get it to run right. Speedo isn't working, top speed is like maybe 5mph (when i can get it to do more than a quick lurch forward and then fall on its face). Started with 7 batteries for 84v then took it back to 6. Most recently i got an 00000008 fault for hall. Not sure where to start or what to check. I've been reading through this whole thread but I've only made it to page 29 out of like 95 so far so I'll apologize in advance if something somewhere was already answered but I'm just getting frustrated and thought I'd reach out for help. Thanks everyone.

FYI

PC version change setting need send all settings at once. And transmit so slow, we need take an heavy notebook near your ride either.
so made this APK for speed up reading and change gear real time.

How to connect wih Bluetooth:
1. paired BT from phone setting
2. press BT button (default name is "slave")
3. selet your BT device name

How to change em-150 setting by phone:
1. select "s1" or "s2" for setting, or select for quick "EBS" "HDC" "Paddle" setting change. (some setting need press "Rst" or power off)
2. scroll down screen and choose one setting you want to change.
3. change the value by scrolling bar, setting will save to em-150 and read back from em-150 by BT
4. press "Lock" will lock your wheel prevent someone move your e-bike, you can press "Rst" or power OFF -> ON to release it


How to save setting group:
1. select "SaveRec"
2. the "normal" group will change to "Backup1" group
3. click "Backup1" group and choose one name which you want to save all setting in it.



How to recall all setting from setting group:
1.select your group name, stored setting will temperory load on phone
2. press "Upload" to send to em-150
3. if you want to cancel your choose group setting, press "Read" to read back form em-150

How to read/record your riding Km, WhKm ...
1. load APP, connected and riding
2. if you need record to another row, close APP and relaunch it


How to calibrate speed on phone (since em-150 only sending RPM data)
1.Current wheel size is 10inch, increase "RPM2Km" if your wheel size or speed is lower than realtime GPS.

If your controller requires a Hall angle of 120°, your motor must also have it. This is not the Hall Shift setting.

Do you really have an ipm motor with 24 pole pairs? Im no expert, but I have never seen one.
I think your ki/kp settings are very wrong, but I dont know how it should be set up.

The first half or so of this thread is for the old 2.32 fw, you have the newer 2.33. You should read the later part of the thread instead.
There is info here on how to set it up.
