In it's infancy, things have really changed.

Wow, a little over 10 years ago.

I was riding a Chinese SLA scooter with a brushed motor and reading V is for Voltage trying to figure out how to mod it.

I was pedaling....lots of pedaling. Back then I had no idea the canyon carving, eyelid peeling fury your basic hot rod ebike these days can achieve on a medium budget.

And if somebody had said endless sphere, I would have said "huh?"

I was still just pedalling, and beginning to study motors and such in preparation for my first foray into assist on my old DayGlo Avenger bike. But it was still more than a year before I started blogging it
