Anyone know about/tried TOSEVEN Mid Drive?

Update - 600 km with my DM02 without any problems
1100km on mine

Had to remove throttle as that was causing motor to shut off

Also have the issue where when you stop pedaling for a few seconds and the. Start sometimes the .motor won't respond for a few seconds
Apparently this is fixed by a firmware update, but I don't want to have to spend $30 on a programming cable

I had 1600 miles on a dm02. 2 controllers hall sensors failed. Dead motor.

1200 miles on a dm01. 3 controllers. Pinion bearing exploded. Hall sensors failed.

also have specialized levo with 2800 miles. No problems.

I’ve had too many problems with toseven. I’m done with them

Hi guys,
my DM02 hasnt separate wires for lights. LCD can set light on/of. How can I connect light to motor? Need change controller with separate cables? Or has controller output inside to connect cable? Any advice, pls?

Dear Customer,

Thanks for choosing our DM mid motor for your e-bike conversion kit needs.

We would like to clarify that to meet the needs of different markets and distributors, our factory offers various configuration options. Some versions of the controller do not come with an integrated light output function.

If you require the light option, you will need to upgrade the controller to have the required internal circuitry and output ports.

We kindly recommend you contact the distributor from whom you purchased the motor, or our factory at support@to7motor.com to assist with purchasing or upgrading the necessary part.

Thanks for your understanding. We look forward to helping you resolve this issue.

Dear Customer,

Firstly, please accept our sincerest apologies for the repeated failures you have experienced with our DM series motors and for the significant inconvenience and disappointment this has caused.

We completely understand your feeling of being "done with them." Any user facing such consecutive problems would feel the same way. We are not here to make excuses. Our only objective now is to thoroughly investigate the root cause and provide a responsible solution for the losses and trouble you have endured.

To best assist you in resolving the current situation, could you please provide us with the QR code from your DM motors? This will allow us to proceed efficiently. Thanks.

As a concrete step to rectify this, we are prepared to provide you with the latest upgraded and rigorously tested controller (including Hall sensors) as replacements for your damaged motors. This new controller version features enhanced protection levels.

And we will also provide a set of bearing kits certified to a higher standard as well.

We know that rebuilding trust takes time and must be proven through action. We do not expect you to change your opinion immediately, but we sincerely hope you will allow us the opportunity to regain your confidence through tangible improvements and the performance of our products going forward.

Would you be willing to establish a direct communication with our support team? We would be following up on your case and addressing any technical details.

Once again, we are deeply sorry that our products did not meet your expectations and impacted your experience. We truly hope to have the chance to make this right.

We look forward to your reply.

Nylon gear failed in first motor after a few hundred kms. Bearings failed in second after a few kms.
Dear Customer, we are sorry for your unpleasant experience with our DM motor, could you please provide us with a picture of your nylon gear to support@to7motor.com, so that we could better analyze the cause of the failure reason. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation. Have a nice day~

I installed my DM02 last July, T24 display and controller are September 2024 firmware. Only have 400 miles on it, but the motor works great. Plenty of power for me. I can do 24 mph in L5 with display showing 620 watts , but usually ride at half that speed.

Only problem was the ebrakes, which shorted out the 5V supply and killed the motor when activated, Someone must have put bafang brakes in the box. I rewired them properly.

Since the factory is reading these posts, I'll say that I like the kit.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I got rid of the DM01 last July so I can't give you the QR code. I'd be happy to communicate however. I purchased the to7 motors from johnnynerdout.com.
