G062 or G060 geared hub motor owners.....is anyone using Spintend Lite 100A/100V VESC controller?

No heatsink. Good idea though. I'll figure that out when I swap out the battery?
I just need to find the time to build it (I have all the pieces). :)

I did setup a conservative field weakening configuration that is working well.
I got my top speed back up to 32 max MPH.
This is what I did:
Increased Duty Cycle Limit to 90% (up from 85%).
Field Weakening Maximum Current 15A
Field Weakening Duty Cycle 80%...kicks in around 24MPH.
Field Weakening Ramp Time 600ms.
Observed watts on Vesc Tool is around 1500w cruising between 28 and 31 MPH.

I also get nervous about running a much over 2:1 phase amp to battery amp ratios when i hear a motor has gears.
That's because i'm usually overvolting and over amping it to begin with. I need a little thermal/mechanical headroom and subtracting some potentially low rpm power is the most liveable compromise.
I have had issues on the VESC being unable to make a no name direct drive spin no matter how I futzed with the settings, even if it works fine on the stock cheapo controller. As for 2:1 phase to battery, it feels great to have 1:1.. if your battery amps are high enough! Constant acceleration at any throttle is pretty cool if not quite unnecessary, can also be used to limit heat generation on geared motors without losing out on raw power at higher speeds.
