I just got 2 multistars from USA West warehouse. The stock was listed as "In transit" so I chatted with the online chat person and he said it is OK to order them because they were in. I did so and he was right. 5 days later they were at my door.

Well, it's totally OT to this thread, so I'll keep it short, but there is some info in the housefire thread somewhere last fall, when I did some shed cleaning.

Details on the present and future will be in the housefire thread "shortly".

anyway, several people and mods sold their soul to HK so they will keep convincing you how good HK is,

I certainly never sold my soul to HK. I do have a big pile of that stuff though, because it's so cheap.

One thing this soul has learned, NEVER expect any order from HK to go smooth. Enjoy it if it happens, but never expect it.

Definitely don't order shit right now, till the lunar new year hangover goes away. It should be over by 1st of March, but the shipping will be playing catch up for some time.

Air shipping not affected by the port strike in LA, but the docks in china are still loaded right now I bet. I'd wait till the second week of March to order from china. Having said that, I have some disk bakes in limbo right now. No biggie, I knew they would not come too quick when I bought on ebay.

this is all good info regarding our primary supplier...I wonder it it's just a temporary thing like DD said or Hawaii specific. It's definitely about larger orders because I ordered a 3s after my friend was shut down... who knows...
