Hi

Is there anywhere that has resources for how the controller works. I just wanted to know what power settings are used for each PAS level. I was directed to http://www.szktdz.com/ but it doesn't really give me an indication.
Its the PSW Sinewave controller from PSWpower http://www.pswpower.com/ven.php?cargo.2016-3f-33c0

I wanted to know e.g.
Pas 1 - 10% power/watts
Pas 2 - 30% power/watts

Is there an easy way to program each level? I have seen some USB programming https://www.pedelecforum.de/forum/index.php?attachments/upload_2018-6-27_14-10-47-png.199499/ and saw this link. So is that the standard setting?

Pas 1 - 20
Pas 2 - 40
Pas 3 - 60
Pas 4 - 80
Pas 5 - 100

KT controllers are not programmable, unless you mod them to flash open source firmware. The PAS levels are factory set. Depending on which display you chose, you may have an overall PAS adjustment that (Power Assist Tuning Parameter - C14) that ratchets all of the PAS levels up or down (three settings). For example, in my case, the low setting and PAS 1 give e around 150 watts, while the normal/middle setting gives me 275 watts.

Which display did you choose?

Is there anywhere that lists what each parameter does? I downloaded the manual https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1576450/Ebike-Kt-Lcd8h.html but its not very detailed.

Check for an LCD3 manual online. My understanding is that the LCD3 and LCD8 are essentially the same, but the LCD8 has a prettier screen and has all the setting accessible in a single screen rather than accessing them one by one.

Here is another version of the KT LCD8H manual http://www.szktdz.com/upload/file/20191105/20191105103044_78856.pdf . Note that it says that parameter program can be changed to customer needs. What that means is that KT will program the display to conform with the resellers requirements. So you would really need a document from PSW Power detailing that display.

Ah that manual is much better. Its ok I initially thought that the PAS settings could be controlled by the LCD but I see now it will need to be done via reprogramming. Its ok it was more of a "is it easy to do" but it doesn't seem to be that useful to reprogram it.

C14 is the only parameter where you can vary the assist of the PAS levels, but all at once, not individually.
