Hey guys, I recently started building/assembling a frankin s73 and I'm having an issue with the front brakes. I'm using some 2 piston brakes that came off of a Surrron/Talaria style ebike as they have pretty good stopping power. Problem is, I can't seem to find a mount for the calipers. I have both a 180mm and a 203mm rotor I can use with my preference being the 203. I'm using some inverted Mozo front forks and was wondering if anyone knows what bracket I can use and where to get it. I've seen some threads/posts on other sites suggesting it may take 2 brackets, which is fine providing i can find two that works. I've attached some images and hopefully this well help. Thanks in advance for the help!

What did the original bike have for mounts? Knowing that, comparing to what your present bike has, might help you find the right ones.

Post mount caliper-- Seems like there is a "standard," yet mounting adapters (spacer brackets for running larger rotors) are often different among brands. I once lucked out finding the one I needed at a local bike co-op by fishing thru their bins of take-off parts.

AW has a great recommendation above, how is the caliper mounted to the Surrron/Talaria style ebike it came from?

Here's a pic of them mounted to another one of my bikes.

OK, that is clear. You will need that same post mount caliper adapter for yours.

Sorry, can you provide me a link to the post mount adapter that you're referring to?
I don't have a link; suggest you inquire with Surrron/Talaria as that is what you stated that was the bike that uses the same setup.

Sorry, I'm not sure that it actually does use that bike as a mold. The company that put this bike together is a hack team that doesn't even know how to get the turn signals to work. So I'm basically having to reverse engineer this entire bike just to get it running (I've never actually ridden it). I know that without a load, the motor will spin the wheel above 100km/h which is the one of the only reason I'm even pursuing it. I've also been talking to the folks over at the brake company Dyisland and they are helping me track down the bracket as much as they can. I would've rather started from scratch building this bike, at least that way I could've known where the parts came from. Live and learn.

It has mostly to do with the caliper mfr, if the fork caliper post mount is standard. Have you contacted the caliper mfr.?

Otherwise you may have to resort to trial and error with adapters from other mfrs, but that can get expensive. If you have a bicycle co-op nearby you can ask to sort thru their bin of adapters, see if you can find something that works (sorry for repeating myself here).

Contacting the caliper manufacturer would've been the easiest approach and if I knew who it was, I promise I wouldn't have wasted anyone's time, including mine, creating this thread. I'm hoping that someone will recognize the calipers and can point me in the right direction.
